WBO junior middleweights world titleholder Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez of Mexico faces Philadelphia’s Jesse Hart in a rematch of their 2017 bout. The fight will air live on ESPN+ in the United States at 10 p.m. ET on Friday from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Ramirez (38-0, 25 KOs) won the title with a unanimous decision victory over veteran Arthur Abraham in 2016 and has defended the belt four times, including the decision win over Hart.
Hart (25-1, 21 KOs) has won three fights by TKO since the loss to Ramirez. In August, Hart stopped Mike Gavronski after dropping him twice in Round 3. In their first match in September 2017, Hart was down in Round 2, but recovered to make it a competitive fight.
