Stephen Thompson and Anthony Pettis‘ main event fight on Saturday in Nashville, Tennessee, is now official, as both welterweights made weight. Neither competitor could weigh more than 171 pounds one day before their matchup. Thompson hit his mark at 170.5 pounds on Friday, and Pettis was at 171.

Thompson, a two-time division title challenger, will look to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to top prospect Darren Till last May. After a 13-1 start to his professional career, he is 1-2-1 in his last four.

Pettis is a former UFC lightweight champion who is making his welterweight debut. He most recently lost a bloody back-and-forth fight to Tony Ferguson at UFC 229 in October, a bout ESPN’s Brett Okamoto named his 2018 Fight of the Year.

Pettis, similar to Thompson, aims to get back on track after a fast start to his career. He is 3-5 since losing the lightweight belt in 2015.
