Barbarians Women have announced their 19-strong group to face the USA Women’s Eagles next month for their first international assignment.
Head coach Anna Richards has called up players from nine different nations including New Zealand World Cup winners Fiao’o Fa’amausili, Steph Te Ohaere-Fox, Linda Itunu and Emma Jensen.
Players from Australia, Canada, England, Ireland, the Netherlands, Scotland, USA and Wales have been invited for the match at Infinity Park in Glendale on April. 26.
It was also confirmed that more players would be included to the group following the playoff stages of the Tyrrells Premier 15s competition in England.
The Barbarians launched a women’s team in 2017 and recorded two victories over Munster and the British Army.
Six Nations champions England Women will host the Barbarians for the first time as part of a double-header at Twickenham on June. 2.
