SAN ANTONIO — Spurs star DeMar DeRozan was ejected with 5:01 remaining in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game against the Denver Nuggets for throwing the ball in the vicinity of official Scott Foster.
With the Spurs down 110-92, DeRozan drove to the hoop and was called for a charge on Nuggets guard Gary Harris. DeRozan then slinged the ball high and over toward Foster, who was standing along the right sideline about 30 feet away.
Foster gave DeRozan two technicals and ejected him from the game.
Denver went on to win Game 4 117-103, evening the series at 2-2.
DeRozan finished with 19 points, five assists and five rebounds.
