Gio Reyna scored on a free kick for his sixth goal of the tournament as the United States beat Canada 4-0 Tuesday night to set up a meeting with Mexico in the final of the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship.

Bryang Kayo put the U.S. ahead in the 47th minute before Reyna, a son of former U.S. national team captain Claudio Reyna, was fouled by Simon Colyn just outside the penalty area and converted his free kick in the 63rd.

Ricardo Pepi added goals in the 78th and 82nd minutes, giving him three in the tournament, while Gianluca Busio assisted on three.

The Americans play Mexico in Thursday’s final. El Tri beat Haiti 1-0 in Tuesday’s other semifinal on a 49th-minute goal by Efrain Alvarez of Major League Soccer’s LA Galaxy.

By defeating Panama in a quarterfinal last weekend, the U.S. qualified for the Under-17 World Cup tournament in Brazil from Oct. 5-27.
