The UFC main event this weekend is official.
Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith both made weight Friday morning for their light heavyweight main event fight, scheduled for Saturday at UFC Stockholm. Gustafsson weighed in at 205 pounds on the dot, and Smith weighed 206.
Gustafsson and Smith are each top light heavyweight fighters, both coming off losses in title fights to champion Jon Jones. Gustafsson (18-5) fell to Jones by third-round TKO at UFC 232 last December, while Jones beat Smith (31-14) at UFC 235 in March via unanimous decision. The Gustafsson vs. Smith winner will have the inside track on another title shot.
The light heavyweight co-main event competitors, Jimi Manuwa and Aleksandar Rakic, also hit their marks, each weighing 205 pounds even. The original co-headline bout between Ilir Latifi and Volkan Oezdemir was canceled Thursday due to a Latifi back injury.
All the other UFC Stockholm fighters made weight Friday morning. The card airs Saturday morning on ESPN+.
