Three nights of fights over the next four weeks at the Mandalay Bay Events Center will lock in the six finals matchups in the PFL playoffs. Friday night’s action kicks it off as eight welterweight quarterfinalists and four women’s semifinalists vie for one of those coveted spots, with $1 million awaiting the eventual champion in each of six divisions.
For the welterweights, including defending PFL champion Magomed Magomedkerimov, each fighter will have to win twice in one night to keep their hopes of a PFL championship alive. At women’s lightweight, Kayla Harrison and Sarah Kaufman are the top two seeds heading into Friday night’s semifinal matchups.
The broadcast is live on ESPN+, starting with two showcase fights — including the PFL debut of Brendan Loughnane — and closing with a pair of welterweight quarterfinal fights. Coverage continues at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
Jeff Wagenheim is breaking it all down throughout the night, as it happens.
