Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox, who missed 17 games with a sprained left ankle, will play Tuesday night against the Charlotte Hornets, the team announced.
Kings coach Luke Walton said he will bring Fox off the bench, noting that he will have a minutes restriction.
Though he has played just nine games, Fox averaged 18.2 points, 7.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds before suffering a Grade 3 sprain during practice on Nov. 11.
Fox joins a surging Sacramento team, which has won four of the past five games.
