The UFC has kept its heavyweight main event between Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov on June 20 but at a new location, promotion officials announced Saturday.

Blaydes (13-2) and Volkov (31-7) were initially scheduled to headline UFC Fight Night on June 20 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, but the event at that location was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The promotion has since rebooked the five-round heavyweight tilt for the same date, and it will take place at the Apex facility in Las Vegas. The state of Nevada reopened its athletic commission earlier this month, following a two-month hiatus due to the pandemic. The UFC currently has multiple events scheduled in Las Vegas, including UFC 250 next week.

Blaydes, who fights out of Colorado, is looking to secure a potential title shot with a victory. He has won three in a row, including a knockout of Junior Dos Santos in January.

Volkov, of Russia, is coming off a win against Greg Hardy in November. He is 5-1 in the UFC.
