Former junior welterweight title contender Alex Saucedo (29-1, 19 KOs) returns to the ring for the first time in almost eight months to face Sonny Fredrickson (21-2, 14 KOs), in the main event of a Top Rank boxing card at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas on Tuesday (ESPN, ESPN Deportes, 8 p.m. ET).
But before that, a few good prospects will showcase their skill on the undercard.
In the co-main event, junior welterweight Josue Vargas (16-1, 9 KOs) hopes to extend his 10-fight unbeaten streak when he takes on Salvador Briceno (17-5, 11 KOs) in a 10-round battle.
Larry Fryers 11-2, 4 KOs) meets John Bauza (13-0, 5 KOs) in an eight-round junior welterweight bout, and unbeaten prospect Donte Stubbs (6-0, 2 KOs) faces Isiah Jones in a six-round middleweight fight.
