Aug 1, 2020 College Football Hall of Famer and Oklahoma legend Rickey Dixon, remembered as the star of the “Game of the Century II” between OU and Nebraska in 1987, died Saturday, the school announced. Dixon was 53. He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS, in 2013.
