Houston Rockets rookie Jalen Green, the No. 2 overall draft pick in last month’s NBA draft, left Thursday’s 92-76 loss to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Summer League with a sore hamstring.
The Rockets don’t believe the hamstring is a “significant concern,” but he will undergo an MRI as a precaution, a source told ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.
Green will likely sit the remainder of Summer League out, the source said.
The 19-year-old, who bypassed college basketball to play in the G League last year, had 13 points in 12 minutes before exiting Thursday’s game.
Yahoo Sports first reported that Green will likely miss the remainder of Summer League.
