Toss India chose to bat vs Ireland

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and chose to bat against Ireland in Gqeberha.

Harmanpreet said at the toss that left-arm spinner Radha Yadav was unwell and replaced her with legspinning allrounder Devika Vaidya.

On the other hand, Ireland, made one change to the XI that played against West Indies by bringing in pacer Georgina Dempsey for Jane Maguire.

A win will confirm a semi-final spot for India, who are placed second on the Group 2 points table. They won two games in a row and suffered a defeat against England in their last outing.

An Ireland victory will interest Pakistan, who could then qualify for the knockouts if they beat England on Tuesday.

Ireland have lost to England, Pakistan and West Indies, and are out of the competition.
