Saracens hooker Christopher Tolofua has singed a three-year deal with Toulon, the French club announced on Monday.

Tolofua, who has been capped by France seven times since making his debut in 2012, is in his second season at Saracens having joined in 2017 following seven seasons at Toulouse.

He has made five Premiership appearances this season, all from the bench, but has found his first-team opportunities limited by Jamie George.

Tolofua returns to the Top 14 as he aims to make a late break into the French squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

The 25-year-old has not played for his country since the 2017 Six Nations and was not included in France’s squad for the upcoming autumn internationals.
