Rising bantamweight star Petr Yan has his next assignment, and it’s undoubtedly the toughest test of his UFC career.
Yan (11-1) will meet John Dodson (20-10) on Feb. 23 in Prague, Czech Republic, multiple sources told ESPN.
Yan has won his last six fights in a row. He most recently defeated Douglas Silva de Andrade via TKO at UFC 232 last month. He announced on Thursday that he signed a new four-fight deal with the UFC.
Dodson, a former two-time flyweight title contender, will look to bounce back from his unanimous decision loss to Jimmie Rivera at UFC 228 in September.
The event, which will mark the promotion’s first in Prague, will be headlined by Jan Blachowicz vs. Thiago Santos.
