WBA “regular” middleweight titleholder Rob Brant faces Khasan Baysangurov in a fight that will air live on ESPN in the United States at 9 p.m. ET on Friday from the Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minnesota.
Brant (24-1, 16 KOs), of Minnesota, won the title by defeating Ryota Murata by unanimous decision in October. Brant has won two fights in a row since losing a super middleweight bout against Juergen Braehmer in Germany in October, 2017.
Russia’s Baysangurov (17-0, 7 KOs) has won three of his last five fight by stoppage, including a dominant unanimous decision over Paul Valenzuela Jr. in October.
