Former world titleholders Robert Guerrero and Jesus Cuellar will both be in action on the undercard of the Shawn Porter-Yordenis Ugas welterweight world title bout, Premier Boxing Champions announced Monday.

While Porter-Ugas headlines the PBC card Saturday (Fox, 8 p.m. ET) at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, Guerrero and Cuellar will be in lower-profile undercard bouts as they try to get back into title contention.

Guerrero (34-6-1, 19 KOs), 35, of Gilroy, California, will face Hevinson Herrera (24-16-1, 18 KOs), 34, of Colombia, in a 10-round welterweight fight, Guerrero’s second bout since exiting a brief retirement.

Guerrero, who won world titles as a featherweight and junior lightweight, plus interim belts at lightweight and welterweight — and faced top opponents such as Floyd Mayweather, Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia and Andre Berto — retired after getting knocked out in the third round by former lightweight titlist Omar Figueroa Jr. in July 2017.

Guerrero came out of retirement and knocked out journeyman Adam Mate in the second round on the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury undercard Dec. 1. Herrera is 2-4 in his past six fights.

Cuellar (28-3, 21 KOs), 33, of Argentina, will face Carlos Padilla (16-9-1, 10 KOs), 29, of Colombia, in an eight-round lightweight fight.

Cuellar, a former secondary featherweight world titlist, has lost two fights in a row. He lost his belt by split decision to Abner Mares in December 2016 followed by a third-round knockout to Gervonta Davis for a vacant junior lightweight title in April 2018. Now Cuellar is moving up in weight again to face Padilla, who lost five fights in a row and eight of his past nine.
