The Memphis Grizzlies are adding two former NBA general managers to their front office, hiring Rich Cho as vice president of basketball strategy and Glen Grunwald as senior advisor, league sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Memphis is expected to make more hires, as well.
Cho was general manager of the Charlotte Hornets from the 2014-15 season to 2017-2018, and he has worked in front offices for more than 20 years. Charlotte declined to offer him a new contract in 2018.
Grunwald was replaced as New York Knicks GM in 2013 after serving in the role for two seasons. He previously was GM for the Toronto Raptors for seven years.
