Miguel Berchelt vs. Francisco Vargas 2: How to watch the fight on ESPN

WBC junior lightweight world titleholder Miguel Berchelt faces former world titlist Francisco Vargas on Saturday at the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona, in a fight that airs live on ESPN in the United States at 10 p.m. ET.

Berchelt (35-1, 31 KOs) won the title by defeating Vargas by KO in Round 11 in January 2017. In that fight, Vargas suffered a cut on the bridge of his nose in Round 3 and another cut over the right eye in the fourth, both by legal punches. He also suffered a cut over the left eye in an accidental head butt.

Berchelt has won 13 of his past 14 fight by stoppage and has not lost a fight in five years.

Vargas (25-1-2, 18 KOs) has won two fights in a row since the loss to Berchelt, including a TKO victory over Rod Salka in April 2018.

Vargas was in two ESPN’s fights of the year, a TKO victory over Takashi Miura in 2015 and a majority draw win over Orlando Salido in 2016.

The main event includes a rematch between WBO junior featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete and former world titleholder Isaac Dogboe in a 12-round battle.

ESPN boxing commentators Joe Tessitore and Mark Kriegel, along with former world champions Andre Ward and Timothy Bradley Jr. and reporter Bernardo Osuna, will call the fight from ringside.
