UFC 239: Jones vs. Santos — how to watch, plus full analysis

Jon Jones might be the greatest male fighter in the history of mixed martial artist. Amanda Nunes might be the greatest female fighter ever. Both will be in action on Saturday night at UFC 239 in Las Vegas. The main card is on pay-per-view, beginning at 10 p.m. ET and available exclusively through ESPN+. The prelims are on ESPN and ESPN Deportes at 8 p.m., with early prelims on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass beginning at 6:15.

Jones (24-1, 1 NC) defends his light heavyweight championship in the main event against Thiago Silva, a 21-6 Brazilian who has won eight of his last nine fights, with all but one of those wins coming by KO/TKO.

Nunes (17-4), who reigns at both bantamweight and featherweight, puts her 135-pound belt on the line in the co-main event against former champion Holly Holm (12-4).

The UFC 239 fight card at T-Mobile Arena is packed with interesting contests, several involving ex-champs. Former Bellator and ONE welterweight champion Ben Askren takes on Jorge Masvidal in a welterweight bout. Ex-middleweight champ Luke Rockhold makes his light heavyweight debut against Jan Błachowicz. And former Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez takes on rising featherweight Arnold Allen.
