Quarterback Daniel Jones will start for the New York Giants Sunday against the Washington Redskins, coach Pat Shurmur said Friday.
Jones missed the last two weeks with a high ankle sprain suffered against the Green Bay Packers in Week 13.
Eli Manning started the past two games, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in overtime Week 14 and getting a win against the Miami Dolphins the next week.
Jones, the sixth overall pick in this year’s draft, has thrown for 2,374 yards, with 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
