Karachi Kings will bowl first after winning the toss in Rawalpindi. Imad Wasim’s side will look to carry on with the momentum they built after beating Islamabad United on Sunday, and make one change to that side, with Aamer Yamin replacing Umaid Asif.
There are more significant developments with the Peshawar side, who will not be led out by Daren Sammy. Wahab Riaz showed up at the toss instead, confirming Sammy was not injured, “just resting”. Carlos Brathwaite takes his place in the XI, with Yasir Shah making his first appearance this season, and Shoaib Malik returning as well. Peshawar beat Lahore Qalandars last time they played, and will look to keep the run going.
