How to watch Ali-Frazier, Hagler-Hearns and more of the biggest fights in boxing history on ESPN

Boxing

There are no live boxing events for the foreseeable future because of the coronavirus pandemic, but boxing fans will have a chance to revisit some of the best fights in history on Saturday, starting at noon ET on ESPN.

And when we say the best fights in history, we mean the best fights in history. Marvin Hagler vs. Thomas Hearns, the complete Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier trilogy, Oscar De La Hoya’s junior welterweight victory over Julio Cesar Chavez in their first meeting to earn a world title in a third weight class and Mike Tyson’s spectacular second-round KO of Trevor Berbick to win his first world title are among the bouts to be shown.

Ali-Frazier I has never been aired before on ESPN platforms and has not aired on U.S. television in nearly 30 years (Aug. 1991). In addition to the linear telecast, Ali-Frazier I will become available on ESPN+ beginning Saturday, joining the other two fights in the Ali-Frazier trilogy. Exclusively available to ESPN+ subscribers, it marks the first time ever that all three of the historic fights are available together on demand.
