The Orlando Magic‘s Terrence Ross has a non-displaced, hairline fracture of the big toe on his left foot, the team announced Monday.
The injury was diagnosed through an MRI after Ross had been experiencing discomfort. He will still take part in noncontact practice activities and will be evaluated, the team said.
The team said that Ross’ return to contact work in practice will depend on how well he responds to treatment.
Ross, 29, averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 69 games last season.
