BEREA, Ohio — Odell Beckham Jr. is officially back.
The Cleveland Browns star wide receiver will make his season debut Sunday against the Chicago Bears, coach Kevin Stefanski announced Friday.
“He had a good week,” Stefanski said. “He’s ready to go.”
Working his way back from last year’s season-ending left knee injury, Beckham sat out Cleveland’s first two games this season. Beckham, who suffered a torn ACL on Oct. 25, had been a limited participant through training camp and practice the first two weeks of the season.
He has been a full participant in practice since Wednesday, and Stefanski said Beckham had “no limitations” this week and “took every rep.”
For the first time this season, Beckham was not on Cleveland’s injury report Friday.
“I’ve worked extremely hard to not only get back, but improve and be better than I ever have been,” Beckham said Thursday. “I’m definitely looking forward to it. It’s been a long time. A long time in that cave. … It’s going to be special.”
Cleveland placed wideout Jarvis Landry on injured reserve earlier this week because of a medial collateral ligament sprain in his left knee, meaning he will miss a minimum of three games.
