New Orleans Pelicans guard Devonte’ Graham was arrested in Raleigh, North Carolina, early Thursday morning and charged with driving while impaired, police records show.
Graham, a Raleigh native, was arrested around 3 a.m., and local jail records as of noon ET show that Graham is not in the Wake County jail.
Graham, 27, just completed his first season with the New Orleans Pelicans after playing his first three years with the Charlotte Hornets. Graham played in 76 games last season and averaged 11.9 points and 4.2 assists.
Graham attended Broughton High School in Raleigh before doing one prep year at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. From there, Graham signed with Kansas and spent four years playing for the Jayhawks. He was drafted in the second round of the 2018 NBA draft.
