Women’s boxing titlists Natasha Jonas and Marie-Eve Dicaire are one step closer to bringing all the belts in the junior middleweight division together.

Jonas and Dicaire have agreed to a unification fight on Nov. 12 in Manchester, England, putting Jonas’ WBC and WBO and Dicaire’s IBF titles on the line.

It’s been a busy 2022 for Jonas, who won the WBO title in February beating Chris Namus and the WBC title in September with a unanimous decision win over Patricia Berghult. Now, the 38-year-old is trying for her third belt this year.

Jonas (12-2-1, 8 KO) has fought every fight of her professional career in the United Kingdom and this will be her third fight in Manchester. She’s won three straight fights since losing to Katie Taylor in an attempt to win the undisputed lightweight championship in May, 2021.

Dicaire (18-1, 1 KO), 36, will be fighting outside North America for the first time and only for the second time outside her native Canada. The last time she left Canada to fight, she suffered her only defeat – losing an undisputed junior middleweight title fight to Claressa Shields in Flint, Michigan in March, 2021.

Dicaire then won her IBF title for a second time last December, when she beat Cynthia Lozano by knockout after Shields vacated all the junior middleweight belts to focus on fighting at middleweight and an eventual undisputed fight against Savannah Marshall, which takes place Oct. 15.

Terri Harper, who Jonas fought to a draw at junior lightweight in 2020, moved up to junior middleweight and beat Hannah Rankin by unanimous decision on Saturday to win the WBA title.
