Toss: Pakistan opt to bat v New Zealand
Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and chose to bat in the series decider in Dubai. After Trent Boult’s hat-trick set up New Zealand’s victory in the first match, Pakistan bounced back in the second to square the series. Opener Imam-ul-Haq, who has not yet fully recovered from the blow he sustained to the head in the second game, was not part of the team.Mohammad Hafeez was listen to open with Fakhar Zaman, while Asif Ali got his first match of the ODI series. New Zealand were without regular captain Kane Williamson, who sat out due to a groin strain. Tom Latham captains the visitors in his place and will also keep wicket. They also left out the experienced Tim Southee and brought in Matt Henry.
